All income is donated exclusively to charitable causes. In full transparency, OVUM redistributes all the funds it raises to various NGOs selected according to the admission criteria in force. These NGOs are screened and approved by a diverse panel of people, including, above all, the children who will sit on the board of directors. Donations are allocated based on the best performance in terms of both financial (distribution and use of funds) and humanitarian aspects of the actions in the field.
Each NGO must:
- have a profile that corresponds to any legitimate cause claimed by OVUM, namely the defense of children’s rights;
- be able to demonstrate an impeccable reputation with evidence of tangible results regarding the nature and outcomes of any projects it has carried out;
- provide its last three years of audited financial statements demonstrating a fund allocation ratio that complies with OVUM standards;
- produce accurate reports and detailed, documented follow-ups on the use of these funds for any program in order to be eligible for future donations.
